Excellent....and from what I can deduce, it's lower calorie than any other granola I've seen. I always keep roasted almonds on hand, so this made it easier. (Just pack as many raw almonds onto a cookie sheet as will fit and roast at 250 degrees for 1 hour. I omitted the pumpkin seeds and replaced with roasted peanuts. It's so good!!

This granola is so good and easy to make! Its almost addicting. I keep a small container of it in my end table because I nurse my baby in the middle of the night and its a great snack to have then instead of cookies or chips. Awesome recipe Giada!

Five stars for sure! Very "meaty." Yes, use the juice to help make some of it stick together.

I have made this recipe many times and love it. I use walnuts, sunflower seeds, a mixture of dried cranberries and cherries and honey sesame sticks with the rolled oats. It freezes beautifully, so I make a large batch and just pull it out when needed. I don't know about other reviewers, but I just mix it all up together and cook at 250 degrees for about 40 minutes.

Pretty good, I doubled the recipe but added less than half of the juice called for (I used some Cran Apple I had on hand. The granola itself wasn't as crunchy as I would have liked....any suggestions on how to tweak to make "crunchier" would be appreciated!

This is a favorite at home and at the office! I make a double batch every other week. I add candied ginger, dried apples and pears, apricots. It all depends what I have on hand. Who knew that great granola was so EASY to make.

Best granola recipe ever and cannot even compare it to store bought!
One thing I do not add is the cranberry juice and it turns out fantastic. Always have to double the recipe because it is gone in no time. Other additions I have added is dried mango, dates, coconut, cherries, whole almonds, pecans, and walnuts. Fabulous every time-love Giada's recipes.
