This granola is WONDERFUL. It's the best I've ever had. I will definately be making this again. My husband is a truck driver and this is just what he needs to take on the road with him.

I made this today and will recommend it to my friends who normally pack granola bars in their purse for between meals snacking.

Be careful when toasting the seeds at 350 during the first step .. Ignoring the kitchen timer while I filled the dog's water dish for 60 seconds too long gave the sunflower seeds a burnt flavor, that will carry through to the finish. If you over do it ... toast a new batch, or just exclude them.

Great recipe. I love the flavor.

This was awesome! I agree with M about Null. I've read null's remarks on other recipes. Seems to be a dull null. Also sounds miserable & hateful. Oh well, can't please everyone esp Dull Null. Enjoy this wonderful recipe!!

How the h..... did Null become a pediatrician. She has always been a nutritionist looking at the most fattening and unhealthy recipes on the site and making the most rediculous remarks.

This is a great recipe for granola. I think I slightly overbaked mine because I was waiting for it to get crunchy in the oven. I finally took it out and it was fine. I just wanted others to know that it does get crunchy AFTER taking it out of the oven, so don't overbake it.

This is the only recipe for granola that I have ever used, and I absolutely love it! It's easy to make, and so great tasting. It's great for breakfast, or a more healthy snack choice. It also lends itself to improvisation brilliantly.

While this is not my favorite recipe for granola, it is certainly more healthy that my number one choice. Based on others comments about "chewiness," I think I may have overbaked mine as it was more crunchy rather than chewy. We like to add granola to yogurt for a quick and nutritious breakfast and the crunchiness is a plus there. I plan to make it again and rotate it in with my other granola recipes.

I love granola and thought I would give this recipe a try but found it bland and tasteless.

It seems like she used shell on seeds but it depends on your taste. I've eaten homemade roasted pumpkin sees and they're good but if you use the shelled seeds, readilly available in stores, you don't have to worry about it.
