I want recipes for punch, not videos, but the search engine only turns up videos. Highly annoying!

Went all over town trying to find the Marachino Cherry Liquor - no one had it and couldn't find the distributor to order it, so ended up using Luxardo Cherry liquor as a substitute. Big mistake, as it was a deep red. With the OJ and Lemoncello, the drink became a cloudy, orange/brown murkly/muddy color. No one wanted to drink it and it made me mad for spending so much on liquors I don't normally buy. I normally make great vodka fancy martinis but this was awful! I added marachino cherry syrup to try to make it prettier and it helped some, but I will never make this it again! Taste wise, if you could get past the color, it was average, no wow factor in it at all. It would be nice if TV chefs could use ingredients average people could find.

I loved reading the oh-so-different comments made by readers. From the reader who had the idea of what to substitute to keep it tasty to the lady who thought it tasted like regular fruit punch, I'm guessing you have no palate and are an alcoholic? Speaking of substitutes for those that don't drink, using Grenadine Syrup for the Marischino Liqeuer and fresh lime juice for the Limoncello will just about knock your sox off. Enjoy drinking on my Birthday(Halloween

I had high hopes for this Halloween drink, but it almost tasted just like regular fruit punch, but without much punch. Mine came out that regular pinkish fruit punch color, not the orange shown. No one really raved about this or asked for seconds so I kinda think everyone felt the same way. You couldn't really taste the alcohol in it either, except for the limoncello which added a medicinal flavor in this mix (and I normally like it by itself.

The maraschino cherry liqueur that I found was also clear so I added a couple of small spoonfuls of maraschino cherry juice to each drink to get the orange color shown on TV. The end result was a big hit at work and one man took the recipe so he could serve the drinks to his family at Thanksgiving.

I made this on Halloween, everyone loved it, I had to use Kirschwasser instead of Maraschino liqueor.

This drink is delicious. I used Creme De Wild Cherry from France. The cherry flavor adds incredible depth to the drink. It is not too sweet as one might think. It is very refreshing and sophisticated. Thanks Giada!

Nice adult drink that shouldn't be hard to make = just go online and you get the definition of maraschino liqueur plus what makes a decent alternative: amaretto, kirsch, or cherry liqueur!
