    Served this at a small cookout & it was well received. Everyone was intrigued by the basil flavor and it disappeared quickly.

    This recipe is so delicious and refreshing. I made a spiked version (vodka for a small dinner party and I ran out in 15 minutes. I made two more double batches and those were also gone before the main course was served.

    This is such a great recipe to really make a classic drink more special. The basil simple syrup is wonderful and adds a fragrant flavor to it. I would suggest adjusting the amount of water/sparkling water to your taste (personally i don't like a very concentrated lemonade.

    I can't believe it, but this drink is not good at all. Usually Giada's recipes are no-fail, but not this one.

    everyone that i have served this to has loved it. my younger son though poured himself to much in cup and put it in the freezer. well it became an instant lemon icy. now when guest come over i either serve as a drink or dessert and it's always a great treat.

    This was a little too thick for my taste- however I rated it a five because I added more water and it was absolutly delicious- a new family favorite!
