I made this dish for my family (including some inlaws and they loved it!!!! It was so super easy to make. I made it with the pasta dish from the episode and it was perfect!!! A great shrimp dish for anyone!

The shrimp are wonderful with the pesto. I've tried the pesto with different herbs depending what i have and it comes out great everytime. Definitely serve with the linguine dish from the same episode. Great combination!

This recipe is simple, yet the flavors really pop out at you. I got rave reviews as the best pesto ever tasted. It is important to toast the pine nuts, this made the difference!!!! Yum!!!! Served this over the linguine recipe from this same episode, quick, simple, but packed with all lot of flavors!

I made this the other night and it was great. However, instead of sauteing the shimp I grilled some shrimp as well as some scallops. I used some leftover sundried pesto sauce, from another of Giada's receipe, that I heated and poured over the seafood. I also served this with Giada's Tomato Soup with Pancetta that was on her earlier show the same day. Both receipes were very easy to prepare and my wife and I loved them. I also make some rice to go along with the soup, shrimp, and scallops.

I am not a seafood lover, and only really tolerate shrimp, but let me tell you, this was an excellent dish. I've made this twice now, once as directed and the second time letting the pesto crust onto the shrimp, and it made all the difference in the world - truly restaurant quality! Also, I served this with the pasta dish which was also featured on the same show - HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE COMBO. Thanks Giada!!!
