The aroma steaming from the pot was mesmerizing. I used one medium yellow onion instead of the cipollines. Molto bene!

Every time I make this stew it's a hit. I've made it with Lamb, Beef and Venison.
No matter who eats it we never have leftovers. Thanks Giada

I'm a very modest cook, but I was more than happy to boast about this dish. It was a huge success with my family, and there wasn't a drop leftover. My only suggestion is to not brown the lamb for very long if you want it to be super moist.

This meal was wonderful. The lamb was very tender and the broth was tasty. No modification needed. (well, except that we couldn't find cipolline onions so we used the frozen pearl onions....

I have made this recepie many many times and love it. Made it for my family, for friends, brought a big pot to a friend who has a sick spouse. Always a hit. Well today it is a cold rainy day and I am headed to the store to get the ingredients to make it again. In the interest of time, I buy the frozen pearl onions. Done it with beef as well. Soooo easy and sooo satisfying. We like it with crusty bread for dipping! Thanks Giada.

This is a great recipe. I had a roast so I used it and added additional vegetables. It is really, really good!

Hearty, flavorful. The veggies cooked to perfection, nice thick broth, or should I say gravy. The meat melted in your mouth. I did add a bay leaf and some chopped rosemary, because they pair so well with the lamb. Another keeper Giada, thanks!
