This recipe is excellent. The lamb is on the pricier side, and it is rich, so it is definitely something that I make on special occasions. My boyfriend absolutely loves this stew...if it were up to him we would eat it every night! Definitely splurge for the lamb, and do not try to substitute beef...the lamb is so tender! Thanks Giada!! :

I have made it several times and find it easy-to-do. I've tried it using beef as well and it is so delicious.

I actually didn't have any lamb on hand but did the recipe with a combo of pork and chicken. Very yummy and easy.

This stew was absolutely delicious. The lamb flavor is definitely subdued b/c of the long cooking time. Great on a cold day!

This recipe was so easy to prepare and it was delicious. My family is not a fan of lamb so I used beef instead and it was soooo good. I have been making meals from the food network recipes for a couple of years, but this is the first time I have ever written a review. It was THAT good!!!!!
