This dish is so delicious and easy to make. I used lamb leg instead of shoulder, which probably added some extra flavor. It's definitely a keeper! Who ever thought lamb stew could be so easy??!!

Since there was not enough liquid to go with all the meat and veggies, we ended up adding water. That diluted it way too much and made for a less intense flavor than we had hoped for. Love the idea of wine in a stew though.

This was the first time I've ever tried cooking with lamb. And it certainly won't be my last--I LOVED it. It is a little expensive to make -- especially if you're going to an exp. butcher to begin w/ -- but it's worth making a big batch. The leftovers tasted even better because the flavors really intensified. Suggestion: serve the leftovers over white rice. Also, when you sear the lamb, make sure to keep an eye on it; lamb dries out easily.

This was my first time making lamb, and it was easy and came out fabulous! Perfect for a cold winter evening. The only thing I changed was that I added a few more garlic cloves, because we're garlic lovers, and threw in some fresh thyme and parsley, because I need my fresh herbs. I never thought I could make a stew like this, but Giada made it easy. As usual!

I have made this a few times. My family and I really enjoy it. The lamb tastes like beef and the gravy it makes is fabulous. I've tried substituting the lamb for beef, but there's no comparison. This is easy and absolutely delicious! Thank you Giada for another favorite, easy, delicious recipe.

Hearty, and so easy to make. Although I did not get the best quality of lamb, it was still a really yummy stew.

I will change some of the veg, according to what I have, and I am sure it will still be delicious.

The wine and the tomatoes and the lamb make this stew a real treat.

I love lamb but this recipe is laking some spices. It is not something I will do again.
