Followed the advice of others in the reviews and upped the bechamel to 4 tablespoons butter, 3 teaspoons of flour and 2 cups of milk. Omitted the panchetta because it was Lent. Family liked it (I couldn't partake because of the gluten-filled noodles. Made it ahead of time and baked it off a day later - cooking time will be longer and make sure to check the center of a roll for temperature with a knife (mine were still a little cool at one point when I thought they were done.

I was a little worried that these would be fussy to put together but they really weren't and the small amount of extra time is more than worth it for nicer results than big blocks of lasagna.

Delicious and yet easy to make. I could not find the Prosciutto to buy from my local supermarket stores so I used Black Forest ham instead and the family still loved it.

My husband gave it a 20 out of 10! He said the only thing that would make it better would be to serve it with lobster or filet mignon! One quick note- we did forget to add the parmesan into the filling, so I just added it all on top with the mozzarella, and it was still phenomenal.

This is one of the best things I've ever made. It has become our family's Christmas Eve traditional dinner. It is incredible, just sublime. Thank you Giada for being a part of our family.
