These were time consuming to make the first time but I think next time will be easier since I now know what to expect. We thought they were very good and made a pretty presentation on the plate.

Made this and took it to work for our lunch group...it was a hit!! Would definitely make this again and play around with filling variations.

The rollup idea is wonderful. It is so much easier to serve than the regular full pan version and the bechamel/marinara combination is a winner. The only suggestion I have is to use less noodles. Once you wrap a noodle around the stuffing, don't go around a second time. The result is a rollup that is hard to cut and not enough stuffing flavor. This is the only way to make lasagna!!

I found these to be rather bland. Something was definitely missing from the filling--maybe some herbs would do the trick, or even more salt and pepper. In fact, if not for topping them off on the plate with a great marinara sauce I happened to buy at Whole Foods, I wouldn't have cared for them at all. The bechamel sauce pretty much disappeared during the cooking process (I think I could have stirred a little heavy cream into the marinara for the same effect and a lot less effort, and the filling was barely adequate for 12 rolls--I found the rolls to consist of too much pasta, too little filling. This was my first "Everyday Italian"--I hope they're not all this ho-hum.

This dish was a GREAT hit at my last Sunday family dinner. For those "low carb" eaters in my family, I used the filling to stuff in chicken breasts, but otherwise made the recipe exactly the same. It was awesome with the lasagna noodles and the chicken breasts!!

This recipe takes about as much time to make as regular lasagna but is perfect for people like me that aren't crazy about marinara sauce. It is so tasty and creamy. My 2 year old even loved it!!!

This was so fantastic, of course next time I will allow for more time to prepare it.

I also found it to be lite due to the
    Bechamel sauce.

I prepared these lasagna rolls, along with Sarah Moulton's spinach, mushroom, and tarragon salad, for a dinner party last night and the meal was delicious! The combination of the bechamel and marinara sauces is superb.
