This recipe is wonderful! I cut it in half because there are just two of us, but otherwise I prepared it exactly as written. I found that toasting the bread for 10 minutes was just a little long for my oven, so next time I will try about 7-8 minutes toasting time. I actually had the Meyer lemon oil and I would highly recommend trying it. I didn't taste the lemon as much as smelled it - and it added a very subtle lemon 'experience'. If anyone needs it the oil is available at bistroblends on the internet.
I think the next time I make this (and there will be many more times I might try a little crumbled bacon or small diced ham. But for now - I LOVED it!!! Thanks Giada for a simple tasty new breakfast treat.

I used a 3 cheese bread, so I left out the parmesan cheese. Didn't have fresh basil, so I used fresh chives. The lemon olive oil really makes it! Will try again, maybe with another bread.

This is a terrific, easy brunch recipe. I doubled the eggs, made it with whole wheat ciabatta, and added ricotta. Delicious, and the whole family loved it.

Since the 1st time I tried this recipe I've always made it with jalapeno cheddar rolls. It's very tasty especially with bits of the cheddar/jalapeno top mixed in with the eggs...yummm! Giada you rock!

I thought this was delicious and so did all of my brunch guests! I love that it is so different from a typical egg casserole. I could not find a deep enough foccacia to hollow out so I opted for a brioche and it was great!

This is my go-to brunch dish. It's super easy and everyone always raves on about it! The first time I made it, I used focaccia but other times, when I've had trouble finding foccacia, I've used other breads- and it also tasted wonderful!

This is my new Thanksgiving morning tradition. Everyone loves this and easy to prep the night before. I should have made two people wanted 2nds.

I used Ciabatta from Panera this time and it was great and toasted nicely
