Although I loved the lemon flavor imparted on the toasted bread, the overall texture was too mushy and bready. I might would make again and use less bread so it had more of a casserole consistency.

I love Giada's recipes cuz they're usually so simple yet rich and tasty! This one is no exception, I whipped it up for lunch (incredibly fast and my bf and I loved it!

My 4 year old daughter and I made this while mom slept in. She loved it and the kid's loved it. Many ways you can add or modify this concoction! It was great.
