Good texture, but not sweet. I served these with ice cream to make up for the very subtle sweetness.

Really delicious! They are soft and light and they have the best taste of lemon! I would definitely double the recipe because they are too good to only have 16. I used pastel sprinkles for an Easter theme, and that looks neat too!

My family loved these cookies! I used the almond flour/meal (Red Mill which makes the cookies light and airy. I would double the recipe as single makes about 3 dozen. I frosted cookies with a thin white glaze in ribbon lines (used fresh lemon juice rather than milk in my frosting & decorated w/ sprinkles. They look beautiful, Thanks Giada!!!

Yes, almond flour is expensive BUT you can easily make your own for about 70% less than what it costs to buy it. Using a food processor or other good blender, pour in no more than 2 cups of whole (unsalted almonds, pulse 3 times for about 15-20 seconds each time. Don't overpulse or you'll end up with almond butter! Pour the processed almonds into a screen strainer and shake into a stainless steel bowl. If some chunks remain, pour those into the processor to pulse again for a few seconds. Pour your Almond Flour (also called Meal into a Ziploc bag and store in freezer for 3-4 months. So easy and much cheaper than buying almond flour at the store!

These cookies were simple to make and look so pretty with the nonpareils. I do agree that they could have used more lemon flavor. I also used almond meal.

These are fairly nice cookies, very subtle on the lemon flavor, I'd suggest using zest of 2 lemons & maybe a touch less sugar. Almond flour is super expensive in my store, HEB, seventeen dollars for a tiny bag, so I won't be making these again due to price of almond flour!

Sooooo addictive and easy to make! They're not too sweet and have a yummy "lemony" taste! Can't wait to make them again! :

Delicious ! Found Almond "meal" which is what I used. Very, very simple to make and prep time was pretty minimal. The lemon zest really adds that lemon flavor be sure to use a large lemon.. Easy & Tasty daughter loved them !
