Not a huge chicken soup fan but this was really good, especially because of the lemon. And so easy. I will definitely make it again.

My husband made this and it is super easy, but good thing he measured the lemon juice. He only needed to juice one instead of two lemons and even with the correct measurement the lemon flavor was overwhelming. The pea pesto crostinis was delicious.

I loved this soup up until the last step, when I added the cheese. I thought the Romano cheese was a bit too musky for chicken noodle soup. I will certainly try the recipe again, though, perhaps exchanging white cheddar for Romano cheese and using even more lemon! I agree with her statement on the show - the lemon makes it a "happy soup!"

I made this for my husband who was suffering a cold and it hit the spot. I used the parmesean rind and i think it "made" the soup. Just be careful that the rind does not fall apart and find its way into your bowl.

It was super easy to make and I loved that I had most of the ingredients in my kitchen already. The soup had great flavor and pairing the pea pesto crostinis with it made it a hit at my house!

My family loved this soup; however, I made some alterations to it based on the reviews I read and my family's preferences. I cut back on the lemon juice and just added half of one lemon, added one diced small onion, used whole wheat spaghetti, used half chicken stock and half chicken broth, and added some white wine as well. It was a hit with my family of picky eaters! I also made the pea pesto crostini that Giada made to serve with this recipe -- also a big hit with my family as well. The soup and crostini are worth trying.

Giada typically has some good recipes but I don't know what happened with this episode. It is quick to make but I didn't find that the lemon worked well in this soup. It gave the soup a strange "twang" and I even used a little less than the recipe called for. Other than that not much is going on here, just some noodles, chicken and carrots. If I'm looking to make chicken noodle soup I think I'll stick to the old fashioned way.

This soup was excellent! Very easy, quick and delicious! I added onions and a clove of garlic and sauteed in EVOO before adding the broth and lemon juice. The bay leaf is key, it goes great with the chicken. Please make this recipe and enjoy as much as we did! :O

This was different for me,but it was good. The best was the cheese grated on top. Thanks for a fast and easy chicken soup lunch or dinner..

Really nice--I added more carrots and some celery. I also used bow-tie pasta. Went well with the pea pesto crostini she made that day also.
