I love this recipe! I've made it 3 times in the past 2 weeks. It's tastes like a cross between a Greek lemon soup and good ole home made chicken soup.

On the show, Giada said 1 c of chicken, the recipe says 2. So I've been using about 1 1/2 cups , which seems to work well. And a little ground pepper at the end. Yummy!

I love this soup! I added another can of chicken broth (8 cups and 1 cup of water. I used half of a lemon since my husband is not a lemon fan. Then I used Giada's meatball mix (mini sliders without the ketchup and added another tablespoon of parsley. I use the meatballs instead of chicken. Added more veggies and a ton of basil to give the soup a more herbal taste. Mixed all the ingredients without the cheese. He loved it! Enjoy!

Love this recipe! Truly delicious and comforting! Even wonderful after reheating! Added garlic, because I love garlic and put it in everything. Also added onion the second time I made it. You could definitely add more ingredients and it would be just as wonderful as other reviewers stated. I will be making this over and over again! :

A lot of flavor for such a short cooking time, but too lemony for me. There wasn't much to the soup. Celery? Pepper? Could use a little help. I feel like I wasted a good chicken.

I really enjoyed this soup. I really love lemon, enough so that I actually increased the amount of lemon juice a bit and used a lemon-peppered rotissiere chicken. I previous reviewers' advice and increased the stock to 8 cups and was very glad I did...esp the next day after the soup had thickened. I also added celery and 1 big clove of garlic. I used orzo noodles...perfect!

Excellent! Tasty soup. Lemon makes me think of summer and it adds a nice acidity to the taste. Helps to cut the "strong" Romano flavor a bit.
