This is the simplest thing in the world to make. The taste is just one of those things that are wonderful in their purity, like a fresh chunk of bread with just butter on it. It isn't layered and complex, but it wouldn't be better if it were. The combination of lemon and garlic is just a light and sunny taste that can brighten up any meal.

I thought this recipe was simple and very tasty. Very bright and would be great alongside salad or soup. Way to go, Giada!

This goes well with salads and adds just enough carbs to round out and turn into a full meal. Very easy too!

if you like the flavors of lemon and garlic, this is different, fresh and great! I used it on some wheat bread we had in the house and it was a big hit. I didn't feel that the flavors were too strong at all, but I like lemon and garlic.

I have used this recipe three times in the past week. One as an accompaniment to a chicken dinner, as an appetizer, and as a snack. Each time I have received rave reviews. Thanks Giada.

I like the 'snap' of the lemon flavor. I have to admit, I got lazy, and mixed all the ingredients together and let the 'marinade' for about 12 hours. Toasted the bread and 'painted' the bread w/the bruschetta. Fabulous!

So very easy to make, if you don't have a grill, put the bread on a sheet and put it under the broiler...just watch it closely.
Everyone raved over this appetizer...I added chopped tomatoes on top...Molto Bene!

The wife loves it, very refreshing and with the garlic rub, just wonderful. We just love this recipe. The lemon juice with olive oil and the parsley makes the bread taste so fresh!

I make garlic bread with butter and garlic almost every time I cook. This was such a yummy refreshing twist! I used Rosemary instead of parsley and it was wonderful!
