The best lemon cookie! I did add extra lemon juice and zest...many people asked me for the recipe! YUM.

Loved,Loved,Loved these cookies!! Used 1/2 Meyer lemons I had for this recipe & they were just delish! This will DEF be my 'Go To' cookie! Ive been looking for something (fast other than the plain old Sugar cookie & I found it! I will use a bit more grated lemon next time & I agree with Chef #643295 regarding the glaze & adding 4-5 Tbls. of lemon juice. Also, we like the larger sized cookies!! Yep, they're a hit around our house!!

The absolute WORST cookie recipe ever!,!, did it by the book, the cookie flavour is ok but the texture is like a stake pancake, just AWFUL. Wasted 10 beautiful Meyer lemons from our tree on this horrid recipe. Don't do it.

Love the fresh lemon flavor was a big hit with my friends, I even made a second batch and switch out the lemon for orange yummie

Put me in the minority camp that likes these cookies' flavor but not the texture. These cookies taste great, especially if you throw in an extra teaspoon of zest in the icing. However, the texture is like pancakes. The cookies are hard to handle because they never seem to dry, which means you can't stack them on each other. The dough is messy as well. I recommend making smaller cookies, maybe about 1 tsp. If I decide to make again, I will find a way to make the cookies more crunchy.

Good taste however the cookies were very cake like and too soft. I want to make them again following everyone's recommendations and make them a little smaller and bake a little longer so they aren't too mushy. I do think they're worth another try

Oh my Gosh! I love these cookies. These are my favorite to bake and give as gifts. I love making them in the winter and colder months because one bite tastes like a little bit of summer. Thanks Giada!!!
