    Sorry Giada....I'm a great baker and these were not so good. Very pastey, cakelike with no taste. Storing is an issue too. They become very wet and soggy. I'll stick to my anginettes.

    I thought these did not tase good. they were thin and dry and had no taste! i normally love giadas desserts and everything but this was not for me.

    I just made these today but with a little twist. I made a rasperry glaze and soaked the (cakey cookies with it and let them cool. Then I coated them with the lemon glaze. They taste amazing! I love the combination of raspberry and lemon. And, this way, the lemon flavour was not overwhelming (even though I adore lemons! Will definitely make again...

    Added a splash of vanilla and little extra lemon to both the dough and glaze, perfect! Tasted great, everyone loved them!

    If you like lemon these cookies are a show stopper. Brought them to work and they were gone in no time. Everyone loved them!!

    Wow, delicious! Lemon flavor came through just fine for me! They do need the icing to bring out the lemon taste even more. Very easy to make. They are a bit cake like, great just the same.

    I cannot believe Giada came up with this recipe. These "cookies" are like little cakes. Maybe baking SODA should be used instead of baking POWDER? I agree with the reviewer that said these were very bland. I was expecting a nice lemon flavor but could not even detect the lemon at all! I did like the ricotta flavor, but that's it. I was making these for a neighbor who is recovering from an illness, and now after about 3 hours wasted I have to come up with something else. Disappointed, to say the least!

    I've baked these cookies many many times, they always come out great. Very easy recipe and very tasty. I am not the biggest fan, but a lot of my friends love them, so I have to make them a part of my Christmas cookie box :
