I tried the lemon version, but the oranges instead tasted like a dreamsicle. YUM!! Much better than the lemon. Next is the key lime version.
And for those of you whom say RI cotta in Italian it's sounds like Rigotta, the c sounds like a "g". Thanks and try the orange instead, To die for, especially when your kids hate chocolate.

These cookies needed more lemon flavor and I did not like the texture. The only person who kind of liked them was my husband. He likes very bland foods.

As Giada says, these are more cakey than crispy cookies, and they're better for it. They are delicately flavored and so good straight from the oven. My husband couldn't stay away from them!

Incredible. The lemon flavor is wonderful, the texture is soft and cakey, and they are super easy to make. I will make these again and again and again. All of my friends liked these a lot as well.

These cookies are amazing especially if you like lemons. The difference is the REAL lemon juice which provides a great lemon flavor without overpowering!! Have yet to leave a party with left-overs

These cookies are elegant, delicious and easy to make (and I had plenty of supervision from my kids, ages 6 and 9. I often have trouble selling something that isn't chocolate in my house, but these were an instant hit -- a real keeper!

As mentioned in the other reviews, this is a more cakey cookie, and that's exactly why I like it so much. I think that the light lemony taste is wonderful. My cookies were a bit smaller, so the 15 min bake time caused them to overly brown at the bottom. I adjusted the time to 11-12 min at 375 F for 1Tbn sized cookies and it was perfect. And since a lot of ppl had mentioned that the glaze was too lemony, I used one reviewer's suggestion and did 1tsn lemon juice with milk and sugar. The glaze was sweet with a hint of citrus. It was my first attempt at making a glaze, and it didn't look like the picture. The glaze remained sticky even today and was more translucent. Not good for packaging. O, and I don't know how necessary it is to have whole milk ricotta. Next time I will try non-fat and see if it turns out ok. Anyhow, I really like the flavor and texture of these cookies and will be making them again.

These cookies are more like lemon tea cakes. They are fabulous. I made them with and without the glaze. Both were good (Those without the glaze have fewer calories!.
