This recipe is great- the cookies come out delicious! The only thing I modified was that I added a few drops of water to the glaze mix since it was still very dry and hard to spread. That worked fine!

Followed recipe exactly and these cookies spread to a thin layer on the parchment lined sheets. Cookies looked nothing like the picture. Although the cookie texture was interesting (it reminded me of chewy, sugar cookies, the cookie was so so. Not much flavor. The frosting added some zing, thank goodness. I would have added more lemon to the cookie dough, but they ran enough the first time. Won't make these again.

The flavor is great, but I didn't like the pancake like texture at all.

Made these for a family Christmas event at an Italian Restaurant. These were easy to make and everyone loved them. The ricotta gives the cookies a lovely texture and they had just the right amount of lemon and sweetness.

The lemony glaze really makes these cookies. I thought they would be more interesting with the ricotta. I found the cookie itself rather bland. Not bad, just boring. Won't be making them again.

These were great cookies with a couple of modifications. As others have suggested, I added a lot more lemon juice and lemon zest. I also added chopped dried cranberries and chopped unsalted pistachio nuts to the batter. I then chilled the batter, as I thought it would be easier to use a small cookie scoop if the batter was cold. After baking the cookies and letting them set for well over an hour, I made the glaze, but I made one batch with red food coloring and the other with green food coloring. I then put those glazes in squirt tubes and squiggled trees on the cookies to make them festive for the holidays.
My housemates and my schnauzer loved the cookies, so even though I made a double batch because I had a large container of ricotta, I had to make the cookies a second time. Both times they were perfect even though the first time was an experiment. Also, the cookies taste awesome without the glaze, but they don't look as festive.

These were awesome, I made them for a cookie exchange they were a hit! They are so light and fluffy and the lemon flavor is really there. The glaze was too thick so I just kept adding lemon juice until I got the right consistency but they are still going to be my go to cookie.

Easy, moist, and delicious. The folks I shared them with raved about how good they are. This recipe is a hit!

Heavenly!! They are light, soft, and just the right hint of lemon. The lemon glaze adds just the right amount of sweetness and tartness too. Our new favorite Christmas cookie!
