A lovely pasta variation that can be tailored for individual tastes very easily. I added a bit of garlic, some breadcrumbs that needed to be used, and I used both basil and flat leaf parsley. Next time, I will add either some asparagus or some artichokes and a bit of protein and I think it will be perfect! Thanks, Giada!

My entire family loves this, including the kids. I add blanched haricots verts for a little texture and added freshness. Like some others, I also add some garlic and red pepper flakes.

We eat this cold more than hot. Awesome!

I made this once a couple of years ago for my family and they didn't like it. I tried it again a few months ago and now, this is all they want me to make for them. Every now and then, mostly in the spring and summer, I make this for a simple, fresh dinner. My mom has fallen in love with this dish, like me. It is hands-down awesome! I have started to add a black pepper chicken to it to make it more filling. I recommend this dish to anyone!!!

I have been making this recipe for awhile now and over time I have made a few changes. I use whole wheat pasta (to make it a bit healthier, I increase the lemon juice & zest, add chopped garlic and a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes to the oil mixture as well as use a half cup of basil. Then I toss everything together slowly adding the cooking liquid as needed. This dish is so tasty and versatile, that I have served it with; grilled salmon, shrimp, chicken and lamb chops. This has always been a regular request from my husband especially during the summer months. The lemon and basil make it so light and refreshing.

This is very yummy. It tastes very fancy.
    Notes:
    - I didn't have fresh basil, so I subbed with a bunch of dried basil, oregano, and some garlic powder.
    - I didn't have spaghetti, but it was good with rigatoni, too.
    - I added shrimp ... yummy!
