    This soup is really good. Instead of pasta, I cut up potatoes very small and cooked in the soup. Really good flavor.

    This turned out great. I ended up adding more elbow macaroni than the recipe called for the first time, but I think I'll stick to the recipe the next time I make this. The Parmesean cheese as a topper is a must have.

    I made this several dozen times last winter. It's easy to make and delicious. Often I'll add chicken sausage and spinach, and sometimes some chili powder to spice it up.
    One recommendation: If you're making this soup to freeze or if you'll have leftovers, you may not want to add the pasta. It became really mushy after reheating.

    Amazing taste and very filling. The pasta really helps bring the tastes together and adds a different layer of texture which is very satisfying.

    I love lentil soup! How can something so simple be so delicious! My husband and I loved it, he said it's on the top 5 of his favorite dishes I make. Next time I will add sausage or chicken to satisfy my carnivorous husband. I love it just the way it is, and the flavors come out even more the next day! Enjoy!

    I used the recipe provided and my whole family loved the soup. The only thing that I left out was the pasta. I have made other lentil soups and this is by far the best!!!
