    Pretty tasty soup. And it was easy. The only thing is I thought the lentils I used seemed to still be kinda crunchy after over 1.5 of cooking. I had also soaked them overnite. I used the yellow lentils. Not exactly sure what I did wrong.

    Easy and healthy. I added the parmesan cheese to the whole soup at the end. I also minced a clove of garlic and nuked it with a tsp. of olive oil and added that to the soup right before serving.

    I replaced the pasta with chopped spinach for a lower carb version. Absolutely delicious!

    This soup is simple to make, but absolutely delicious! You can also use vegetable stock and make it completely vegetarian. Thanks Giada!

    I omitted the cheese to save calories and didn't miss it. My husband I and both love this soup - easy to make, delicious and leftovers were great!

    What a crowd pleaser! My family & friends are wild about this delicious, satisfying soup. To make it dinner I added sausage, served with crusty bread and that was perfect.

    I have never liked lentils or lentil soup. I haven't had any lentils since I refused Mom's soup when I was a child. When I saw Giada make this soup on TV, it actually looked good! I decided to try it, so I bought some lentils. A few weeks later I decided I wanted to make it and it was nice because I had every ingredient (I used dried thyme instead of fresh already! How easy! Anyway, I increads the amount of pasta and my husband and I loved it! It was healthy and tasty and I will definitely make this again. Thank you, Food Network!!!

    I made this soup this weekend for the family and it was definately a hit. I used a vegetable broth instead of chicken.
