    This was very good and easy to make. However, the beef broth flavor was a little too strong for my family, so I've made a note to use 3 cans beef broth and 3 cans water next time. Overall, it was delicious!

    i cut this in half and we still had leftovers. very tasty and satisfying. dont 4get to add the salt at the end or may seem bland. even the kids liked it, the meat is SUPER TENDER after 1.5 hours. it's a keeper!

    I had made this soup for years with chicken broth and no meat. This version is so hearty! I used a leaner cut of meat...and now know the chuck is a must next time. It made 3 full meals for both of us and my husband is already wanting it again!

    I started making soups from scratch to avoid salt and chemicals. Although this took me a while to make, it was easy and worth every minute. It's unbelievably delicious ... you can taste how healthy it is. I followed the recipe exactly and every flavor came through. Hearty enough to serve as a main course with tons left over. This will feed more than 6 for sure. I will be making this many times over and plan to serve it for entertaining too. It won't break the bank. Everyone should try this one ... you'll never buy the canned version ever again.

    I have tried many variations of lentil soup over the years and so far this was the most flavorful and unique. Thanks, Giada for a great recipe! I look forward to at least a week's worth of lunches out of this one pot of soup.
