So easy. One thousand times better than the store bought versions.

The best limoncello ever. I made my first batch a few months ago and everyone who tastes it says it's far superior to the commercial brands. The new batch will find its way onto my Christmas gift list as many friends and relatives have hinted they would be happy to receive some. Thanks, Giada.

I followed the advice of the previous reviewers and cut the syrup by half, and it was the perfect amount of sweetness (hovering at the border of being a bit too sweet. I can't imagine what it would taste like if you followed the recipe as is. I've also been thinking about mixing some basil into the syrup to give it an herbal hint (a tip I got from Giada's Italian lemonade recipe. Overall the taste is really smooth and fresh.

It was way to strong. It was like going to a bar and asking for a shot of liquor. I was hoping for a more fruity like drink. And for someone who loves lemons, I didn't like the taste of it either.

When I saw Giada make this recipe on one of her shows I couldn't wait to make it. One thing I changed to bring out more of the tart lemon flavor was squeezing 7 of the leftover lemons into the drink. The simple syrup was just too sweet for my taste. Follow the recipe, but don't use a much of the syrup. Use half and taste it before using the rest. That way you can control the sweetness. I can say, however, that adding the juice of 7 lemons has given it an AWESOME flavor that gets better as it sits.

Delicious, this can be made in your sleep.......only thing that I noticed was that on her show when she made this, she used Smirnoff 100 proof Vocka (I know my booze!! with the silver and blue lable......make it with that and it will knock your socks off.......Delicious over ice, or added to a Vodka 7Up for more kick.....Enjoy, and thanks, Giada!!!
