I was skeptical about the arugula, but this is one terrific side dish! Very easy to prepare and so flavorful. I cut the recipe in half for the two of us and there was plenty left over. Served it with chichen with white wine mushroom sauce. Memorable meal.

I love this recipe. It's easy to make and very flavorful. I use less butter and more arugula. I even started growing arugula so I could always have ingredients on hand to make this. Husband and five-year-old daughter love it, too.

Great and tasty meal thanks. Just had it in Rome, Italy but they served it in Parmesan baskets. They are simple to make, google it, and finish the meal off beautifully. Make sure you place the hot pasta and sauce in the warm basktets so that flavours mix. Yum!

We found it bland but thought if it was served with something acidic, like bruschetta, it would be a good deal. We will try again.

Very good and very simple. I'd give it 4 stars for taste and 5 stars for ease of preparation. Didn't know how I'd feel about lettuce in my pasta but the arugula added a great nutty flavor that was perfect for this dish. I was also concerned that the Pecorino might be a little too salty and pungent but it wasn't. In fact, I wound up adding a little extra on top when I served it. Highly recommended!

I like it but I thought 1 stick of butter was 1 cup

This recipe is really good! I love the arugula in the pasta and think it needs a little more than the 1 cup it asks for. I definitely needed to add the reserved pasta water since the pasta was so dry when stirring in the cheese and pepper. I will be making this again!

A really fabulously delicious recipe. Was also great w/ Alton Brown's "Slow Cooker pepper pork chops". Shredded the pork chops and mixed it into the pasta. Sounds like a weird combination, but it works. One of my husbands favorite meals.
