This was fantastic! I have been cooking a new meal each week trying to find a recipe that I can make more than once before tossing aside and have tried lots of Martha recipes and other online ones and none were worthy of cooking again. However, this was great! The romano was oh so good and I'm glad I grated it myself, don't be intimidated by how much the recipe calls for, use it! It was not overwhelming once mixed with the hot pasta. I was skeptical about the arugula, I had never tried it before, but it was the perfect addition to the buttery, peppery pasta. This was a simple, yet slurp worthy meal and hubby enjoyed it too. Serve it quickly before it gets cold, I spent too much time mixing it all up and it was getting luke warm by the time I was half way finished with my portion.

Thank you to those who wrote the wonderful reviews, I would not have tried it otherwise!

I've made this pasta dish a few times and it is sooo good there is nothing not to like--a great way to incorporate a little lettuce into your pasta. This dish does not disappoint!!!!

this is my new favorite comfort food! i used whole wheat linguine and replaced the arugula with spinach. the only problem is that it is very filling so you can't eat as much as you'd like to!

Saw Giada make this and it reminded me a bit of the spaghetti carbonara i wolfed down in italy (basically ordered nothing but that dish while on numerous business trips to rome.

We changed Giada's recipe a bit and it was a huge hit -- we used angel hair pasta, parmesan reggiano cheese, fresh basil instead of the argula, and topped it with crumbly pancetta done under the broiler. We also changed out the butter -- we used a lower fat substitute due to diet restrictions and it still came out superb.

We're always on the lookout for easy & exciting stuff to make & eat -- thanks Giada for this one!

I was really excited about making this dish because of all the positive reviews, however, I was truly disappointed. There was not much flavor at all in this dish - I'd rather have alfredo. For what little flavor it provided, the cheese was way too strong for my tastebuds. If I made it again, I'd probably use something other than the pecorino. I'll store this away in the cookbook, but I surely won't rush to make it again. Too boring and plain for my taste.

Quick, Easy & Flavorful! Even my husband who isn't a fan of arugula loved it. Fresh grated pecorino is a must! This dish pairs nicely with Giada's Shrimp Fra Diavolo. Can't wait to have guests over...it's sure to be a hit!

This is a really tasty pasta dish - I had a few handfuls of arugula left over from another recipe and did a search here to see what I could use it for. Great choice - the flavors are fantastic! I would bet that some of those who gave it low ratings probably used the cheap cheese in the green can - its so not right. Use fresh, and grate it yourself. The cheese (with the hot water melts into a fantastic, creamy sauce. PS Can you please have an episode where Giada and Rachel Ray mud wrestle? That would be cool. Thanks.

I' ve made this with arugula and it was great, but my family prefers spinach so I added that along with the shredded meat of a whole rotisserie chicken. This makes a great main meal. It's become a frequent dinner choice for us!
