This was an easy and fast dish, which I made for dinner. I had it as a standalone entree, but I don't think there was a need for any other dishes unless one is serving multiple guests.
Overall, it tasted very nice, and I think the recipie for the sauce topples over any canned sauce that could be used as a substitution. Very interesting flavors, but nothing that I would say is "adventureous" for Italian dishes. If one is looking for something with a good taste for little effort, this is a good recipie to try.

This was amazing! I used chicken breast and jarred marinara, but added some chili flakes and pasta seasoning to the sauce. Yum! The wine and shallots really enhanced the flavors in the sauce. I'm sure its even more amazing with homeade marinara, and if I have time, I will try that sometime as well. Either way, this was a recipe success!

To the lady who commented on Giada's cleavage. Don't watch the show. I've never noticed her cleavage before, but rather how wonderful she cooks and smiles. You are just jealous.

This dish was wonderful. My family loved it.I used Giada's quick marnara recipe from her recent cookbook instead. It was so flavorful.I will make this again and again.

This is an awesome recipe. It makes twice as much as the recipe calls for so unless you are feeding an army (or a bunch of deer hunters you might cut the recipe in half and you'll have a good amount as a main dish with a couple slices of crusty bread and vino!

I expected more out of this dish, but found it to taste no different than any other pasta dishes I've had. My family enjoyed, but it didn't do it for me. There wasn't all that much flavor....
