It's CRITICAL that you use fresh squeezed lemon juice. DO NOT try to wing it and substitute lemon flavoring. I will try this one again because my version tasted like a nuclear chemical lemon. Not good. I love Giada's recipes so I know It was my mistake. :-

Great dish. Used whole wheat pasta and spinach instead of arugula. Was a satisfying healthy meal!

My guests RAVED! I changed arugula to spinach, and let the zest sit in warm olive oil as suggested.

I roasted my shrimp in the oven with salt, pepper, and olive oil till done. I also roasted grape tomatoes with a clove of minced garlic and evoo for about 10 minutes. Added everything to the pasta...and WOW! Topped with fresh parmesan cheese and the results were excellent! Thanks Giada and everyone else for their ideas!!

Scrumptious and so easy! I warmed up the olive oil first, then added the lemon zest and let it sit for about an hour, and used baby spinach instead of arugula because I find it to be too bitter. This was such a simple but filling meal. Even my little sister said it was the best pasta dish she ever had!

Delicious! Like others, I used spinach instead and I also added portobello mushrooms. It was very easy to make which makes the recipe all the better!

I thought it was alright, nothing to write home about. My family on the other hand did not like it at all. guess they like a more traditional Italian pasta dish. Don't think i will be making anymore lemon with pasta dishes.
