I am not a fan of traditional macaroni and cheese and was looking for an alternative. I made it for lunch and the two of us ate the whole recipe. It was delicious. Next time I will double it so we have leftovers. I will make it for dinner with grilled shrimp or chicken breast on top. Thank you Giada. Carmellasue

I fell in love with this dish a couple of years ago when I saw Giada make it on TV...it looked simple but delicious...I always wanted a recipe for Olive Oil base sauce since tomato sauces now bother my stomach....this is the perfect answer to my quest.
The best thing about this dish is that no matter who I serve it to they love it so much that they want the recipe... I served it last night and my guests want to go home with the recipe today...so thank you Giada for making me look like a good cook. My Grandson loved it so much that he took the recipe home and tried it on his family...his one big mistake was he put in crushed canned tomatoes and the dish must have turned into another dish altogether but it was eaten and he will learn that fresh everything is the secret to this wonderful, fast pasta dish that will impress all that taste it...thanks!

This is an easy, quick and very tasty pasta. The fresh ingredients really add to the taste. I did have to substitute dried basil since I didn't have any fresh, but it was still very good. It will defintely be repeated.

This recipe is amazing. The ingredients are basic, but are so flavorful this will quickly become a family favorite. I have probably made this recipe 10 times, and every time I am lucky if I get to eat a bowl of left overs the next day, because it is gone so fast. I recommend heating after the cheese is added a little so the cheese gets all gooey.

I like to do this either as a side or add a chopped chicken breast for protein. This is very easy, the fresh basil and cheese are what really make this delicious

I followed the directions and the colors look great, but the taste is too cheesy for me =[ I think if the next time I put cheese in it, I wouldn't put 8 oz.
