wow...I had no leftovers, and my guests couldn't stop raving about it. I baked it longer than 20 minutes because it wasn't brown on top, it still had a good amount of liquid when I took it out of the oven but the liquid turned into a nice sauce within 30 minutes. I will definitely be making this again!

I loved this recipe. It came out nice and creamy. I did use 4 teaspoons of flour instead of 2 and I also baked it 25 minutes. I think it is necessary to bake it a little longer to give the sauce time to thicken. I also substituted bacon for the ham. Very yummy!

This was luxurious and decadent. This is something I would serve company. Followed the recipe to a T and it was not runny, but cooked about 35 min. till it was browned on top. For those that found it runny, I wonder if they packed the cheese tight when they measured. It was a big big hit with the husband. Thanks for this one.

This is a family favorite. We've made this several times for potlucks and get togethers and everyone loves it. The cheese is a bit stinky but that's sort of what makes it a gourmet mac and cheese recipe and not the stuff from the box.

I made this to go with my ham and homemade baked beans on Christmas and everybody LOVED it expecialy my Italian grandfather who had Fourths!! My hubby and kids really liked this as well. You really have let it sit awhile after itcomes out of the oven to let it get thick

I made a double batch for a cmas party and everyone loved it. My brother-in-law took the second casserole dish home without asking!! ; I added extra flour. It wasn't runny at all.

Yes, it will be runny if you're in a hurry to eat it right after it came out from the oven. I usually wait for a couple of hours (allowing the pasta to soak all that sauce or even cook it the night before....the consistency is perfect!
