It's so good it shouldn't even be called macaroni and cheese. I made this recipe after seeing the show, and so i knew that it was supposed to be a little runny--and i love it! The crispiness of the top noodles and cheese is an excellent compliment to the cheesy and gooey lower noodles and the creamy sauce. It's just fantastic, and my whole family loves it. We're definitely going to make this for years!!!

High quality ingredients made this a great dish. I can always count on Giada for the best recipes on the classics. I measured everything exactly and it was not runny. Side note: I would add chopped prosciutto instead of ham for meat.

This is the best macaroni & cheese dish I have ever made. It melts in your mouth. My 2 year old even loved it. This will become a recipe I use on a regular basis. Thanks Giada!

Those that love the blue box might not recognize this dish. It is very tasty, and easy to make. Worth the trip to the upscale cheese store.

Think that this mixture really needed to be cooked to thicken the flour and milk/cream mixture. Recipe turned out really runny!!!

I loved this recipe! A true comfort food. Husband didn't like as well because he doesn't like creamy dishes.
    He is missing out.

This mac'n'cheese was absolutley delicious...creamy and crispy and full of flavor! However, as wonderful as it was, the cost of the ingredients was very high - the reason for the 4 star rating and not a 5. It's not a recipe that I will be making often due to the high cost...I'll be sticking with my mom's old mac'n'cheese dish.
