This is an excellent recipe for a flavourful and simple sauce that has depth and can easily be modified. I haven't bought or wanted to buy a store-made brand since. I add dried crushed chili peppers, basil and oregano at the end of sauteeding the carrots and celery. Thank you Giada!

This marinara is easy to make and tastes great. I like to make it and freeze it in small quantities so that I can have some when I need it. Great alternative to marinara from the jar.

We love this recipe. We usually double the amount and freeze it in dinner size containers. It goes with any pasta or can be used as a base sauce for other dishes.

This sauce not only tastes great, but it is truly simple to make. The only recommendations I have is to make sure your vegetables are really fine for those who do not care for texture.

I did not like the taste of the celery and the carrots in the sauce. I ended up throwing away most of this sauce due to not liking the flavor. Her other sauces are much better.

I was making Giada's lasagna rolls and it asked for marinara so I found this recipe of hers. It is amazing. My husband loved it and he can be pretty picky. It's going to be a keeper with us. I can't wait to try it on a pizza!
