it was very good but tasted generic. i saw it used with adding red pepper flakes which i didn't do. maybe that would have made it a little less ordinary.

I tried this recipe for the first time today and it turns out very delicious and tasty. I had to let it simmer for about 30-40 minutes more for it to reduce to a thicker consistency. Next time, I'll start it way before I get hungry so I don't get anxious.

This is an amazing and relatively quick marinara sauce. I love the carrots and celery especially. I use this with spaghetti squash sometimes and it's just as good as with regular pasta.

This sauce was incredible! I did add a teaspoon of sugar, and I think next time I will put green peppers in it, but it was delicious the way it was too. Thanks again for a great recipe!

I made this sauce for my husband, for he is particular about what marinara sauces he likes. The celery in it and carrots were not a flavor he prefered, and asked me not to make it again. I on the other hand liked the chunky texture and veggie flavors. It was rather easy to make as well.

This was my first attempt at making a homemade marinara sauce and at first I was skeptical about the celery and carrots in the sauce but I decided to try it since I've made Giada's recipes before and they were so good and it turned our AMAZING! I was so excited. I did use 4 garlic cloves instead of 2 and used the crushed tomato with Italian Seasoning in it. So Yummy. Thanks so much Giada.

I finally got around to making this sauce and I am kicking myself for not trying it sooner. This was so easy to make I couldn't believe it, and what amazing flavor! It was so rich and velvety! I will NEVER buy jarred sauce again as long as I live.
