This sauce is fantastic and very easy to make. I made it a few weeks ago for the vegetarian lasagna and then used it again for pizza with pineapple and ham and I will also use it for my mostoccoli sauce. It freezes really well, which makes it very convenient. I just put the leftovers in a gladware container and put some saran wrap on top before putting the lid on to prevent freezer burn and it worked very well. Highly recommend this one!

I have made this sauce on several different occasions and I get nothing but compliments. It's soooo simple to make and very versatile.

The very best marinara sauce I've ever tasted!!! Better than the best Italian restaurant I've ever eaten in. I am not easy to please either. So easy to make with ingredients that I keep around the house so I plan to make this often. Thanks for an amazing recipe!

This sauce is great to make on the weekends. It's basic so it can be modified from the fridge for whatever dish you want to make during the week. I made the ravioli with tomato cream sauce one night, and used leftover sauce for rigatone with steak sauce later in the week!! Next time I'll double it to freeze the extra!!

This was very simple, although it seemed to be too oily for me. I also added ,more garlic and a can of diced tomatoes. My kids like it a lot. They like to dip breadsticks filled with cheese into it. Yummy!

This is the quickest sauce to put together. Almost as easy as jarred sauce, and soooo much better!! No more store bought sauce in my house.

My family just loved this sauce. It is great is, but you can also play with the recipe and make it fit your taste or the recipe that you are using. Another thing I loved about this recipe is the vegetables in it....what a great way to squeeze in some veggies on unsuspecting children!

I've tried making homemade marinara sauces in the past, but none could compare to some of the bottled varieties...until now. This one is so easy and so flavorful! And I love that I can control the salt content. The bottled stuff is packed with salt. I used sodium free tomatoes and the flavor was still excellent. I also made extra and froze it for days when I don't have time to make this from scratch. Try it; you won't be disappointed.
