I'm 17 and these were so easyyy to make. I bought them to school and my friends LOVED them. I'm making them this Sunday for Easter and I would recommend them to anyone.

I have tried to make these cupcakes twice and both times after taking them out of the oven they fell and the edges caved in. Can anyone give advice on what I'm doing wrong. I followed the directions perfectly.

i wonder if you could do it with chocolate cake mix instead of white cake mix?

these were good but not great. i didn't make the glaze, but served them with a cream cheese frosting topped with blueberries. i took them to a party and everyone enjoyed them, but i felt they still had that "out-of-a-box" taste. i guess i shouldn't have expected anything else!

I have always loved Giada's receipt...and I tired this one. it was so diasppointing. maybe it's the fact that i don't like angel cake -like texture..this receipt makes very angel cake texture cupcakes...and they are just tooo fluffy and light in a bad way, that they couldn't even hold on to themselves. the edges n tops broke down when I tried to pick them up. and the Glaze?! horrible. I used blueberry puree...terrible. no fruity teast at all just so sugary pure sugar teaste. have to make other glaze...just don't like this receipt at all. Sorry.

Words can't describe what these cupcakes mean to me. haha. I made them tinking that I would give some of them to my friends but they were so good that I couldn't stop at just one. 33 cupcakes lasted only one weekend and I was the only one eating them. (They're definitely not something to have around when you're on a diet. Luckily I don't need to be. Now, when you taste test the glaze your instant reaction will be that it's too sweet. But as soon as it meshes with the cupcakes it's like heaven in your mouth. The cupcakes aren't way, way sweet so the sugar in the glaze will be fine. Lots of people complained about the glaze but I think that that is because they added more sugar or strawberries to it before they tried it on the cupcakes. If you're really unsure about the glaze, test it on a mess-up cupcake first and if you still don't feel good about then change it.

These cupcakes are AMAZING!! I don't have a mini cupcake pan so I used a regular one, took a little longer to bake but worth the wait!! I made a homade chocolate frosting instead of the glaze (not a big strawberry fan and they are incredible. So light and fluffy and soft. The perfect cupcake! Way to go Giada! Thanks so much for sharing! I will make again and again for sure!

These cupcakes are yummy! I halved the recipe though because it makes a ton.
