My 13 year old daughter seen the video for these cupcakes and wanted to try them. I was very reluctant because she doesn't like cake or any sweets so I was sure that she would not like these and I figured that she would really not like the glaze. Our whole family loved them. The cupcakes were so much lighter than a regular cupcake that glaze is perfect for them. I think a regular frosting would ruin the lightness of the cupcake.

I used this recipe as my first attempt at baking and it turned out perfect! These cupcakes were so easy and such a hit with everybody! The first time I made these I used the strawberry glaze topping just as the recipe and they were good. But I'm not really a fan of the powdered sugar taste. The second time I did regular size cupcakes and used store bought frosting. Sooooooo good. These cupcakes are delicious no matter what you put on them!!!

These cupcakes were so easy to make! I never eat cupcakes and I ate two last night and one for breakfast this morning. I made 24 regular size cupcakes because I dont have a mini muffin pan. They were a huge hit at work today!

These cupcakes were great! They were so moist and just melted in your mouth! I highly recommend baking with mascarpone!

Very light and fluffy. I added about 1/4 cup extra flour since I live in Colorado at high elevation. I absolutely adored the glaze. Do add a bit of lemon zest as someone else mentioned. I made 18 regular size cupcakes. They do bake a bit flat, but that's great for glazing. I found that they fell apart a bit and think that mini cupcakes that you can pop right in your mouth are definitely the way to go. I also used about half the powdered sugar she calls for (same amount of strawberries.

Wow! These were light, moist and taste wonderful. They do bake a little flat but I remember watching this episode and her's were a little flat on top also. Luckily because they taste so great no one would notice because they get eaten so quickly : I will continue to make these over and over.

These are really good and I am happy with the way the cheese makes it so light, but has anyone tried it with cream cheese, because I agree with people who say that the mascapone could be put to better use. The glaze is really good, I only used about half the sugar it called for and it made them not as sweet and really good. The glaze was runnier but that is okay when it taste so good!!!!!
