I was expecting a more powerful punch with flavor. The recipe is generally good; however, would serve only during the summer months.

These are pretty and reasonably tasty but wasteful from an ingredient standpoint. You have to open an entire package of phyllo and you only use three sheets. Phyllo doesn't keep once it's opened so you waste 95% of the package. Also, you have to buy an entire container of very expensive mascarpone and you only use 1/4 cup.

Darn it! I usually love everything Giada does, but my husband and I were both disappointed in this recipe. It sounded good! They looked good! But the taste just wasn't there. The raspberry-pineapple mixture wasn't very creamy and the taste sure didn't knock our socks off. But, we ate 'em anyway....just to be sure the ingrediants didn't go to waste. Try Giada's Ricotta Cappucchino dessert. Now, that will knock your socks off!

Our daughter served this as the finale to the other recipes from this episode (see review of the halibut recipe elsewhere. As with the halibut, this recipe seemed easy to prepare and was delicious. The entire meal was also great from a "low-carb" standpoint as well.

This dish is very easy to make and it shows well. It is unusual and very tasty
