Wow - so delicious! Wonderful flavors - couldn't stop eating them! Baked instead of fried and loved them. Only beef with the recipe is that I cut the cheese in the right size and formed the meatballs to the right size, but it only made 25 meatballs with a bunch of cut cheese leftover... hmm...

I didn't care for these but wonder if I did something wrong. I thought that they were very dense and not very flavorful. I followed the recipe exactly except I didn't deep fry them, I baked them at 375 for 12 minutes. Any thoughts?

Huge hit! I made these for a family gathering to serve as an appetizer and they came out fabulous - very tasty! The only thing I did differently was I used 'regular fresh mozzarella' instead of 'smoked mozzarella' inside each meatball (my grocery store didn't sell the smoked and, instead of 80% beef chuck, I used 85% beef chuck. This will be one of those appetizers I make again and again. Thanks, Giada!

These were so good! I made them for our superbowl party and everyone loved them. I had a pregnant lady (that doesn't eat meat right now that kept eating them and some drinkers (who usually don't eat while drinking who ate them all night.
