yes, they do not stay puffy upon oven exit. they flop, crinkle and crack but are the most delicious little morsels ever. i edited the recipe only to take the cinnamon to 1/4 tsp. 1/2 was too much for our liking. also, the mini-muffin liners are MANDATORY.
these are truly a home run. little bites of wonderful. HOOT!!!!!

These looked great coming out of the oven, but then flopped. I should have tested with a toothpick first.

These cupcakes were very difficult to make. What a disappointment for all of the work. Do yourselves a favor, don't waste your time and money making them! They will fall the minute they come out of the oven. They looked beautiful until 2 minutes after they came out. Then they crumbled! BOO!!!!

I added Peppermint Extract and used cream cheese icing to make a St. Patty's day dessert!

Tip: Make sure to grease both the cupcake tray AND the cupcake liners to make cupcakes peel off the liners easily and cleanup a snap!

they did puff up in the oven and then fell, which would have been okay because they looked cute all crackely and drizzled with chocolate however they were impossible to eat. they were so delicate that the top cracked off while taking it out of the paper cup and fell apart as i tried to take a bite. i didn't care for the cinnamon with the chocolate. the end result is not worth the effort.

Followed the instructions with the exception of the cinamon. Instead added 1/8 tsp of expresso coffee. These came out perfect and worth the effort. For anyone interested in making these, a single 24 cupcakes recipe is not enough. The kids rifled through them in no time. Can't wait to try them again. Rich, Chocolatie and perfect for the sweet tooth.

These looked perfect when I took them out of the oven but they fell before my very eyes. But that's okay, I kinda expected it after reading the reviews before making them. I was just hoping mine would be pretty like Giada's. They were very tasty and the perfect size to get that chocolate fix in one bite. I plan on trying these again with half the chocolate icing.

They turned out perfectly. I did not have cake flour so I mixed flour (1/2 cup and corn starch (1 Tablespoon together. Now I am ready for next time. Like many other reviews. They are crispy - crackly on top and a moist cake.
    Thanks for a great recipe
