These tiny cupcakes looked gorgeous in the oven, but like other reviews, my fell flat immediately and we just didn't like the taste so much.... any my husband is a chocoholic. I thought it was a lot of work for a not-so-great end product. But Giada is still my girl, I just LOVE most of her recipes!

These cupcakes were beautiful right out of the oven. I watched them before my eyes deflate in about 2 minutes - still tasty but I wouldn't want to serve them to company. Anyone know of a way to keep them in their original form?

These are moist, yummy, and light. Came out much better than I thought it would. I served them to my family and they couldn't get enough. I didn't have cake flour so I used 1/4 cup flour minus 1/2 tb. (I googled it and they said if you don't have cake flour use 2 tb less flour for every cup. This is my new go to chocolate recipe. You must try these.

I saw Giada make these & new immediately they'd be a hit. I have a friend that I bake something chocolately for each month & she said these were the best so far...

My daughters and I thought these were so very good. Since we are from Boston guess we would say, they are wicked awesome. Thank you Giada.

I loved how these looked and sounded on the show, but was not happy with how mine turned out. I was skeptical after reading the reviews about the top being crumbly, but tried them anyway. That's exactly what happened to mine which made them difficult to handle. The chocolate drizzled over the top makes them look nicer, though. Also, I wouldn't advise making them without the cups. I sprayed the muffin tin and that did not work out so well-they were difficult to remove from the pan. That's my fault, not yours, Giada! I personally don't love the taste of the cinnamon with the chocolate. It makes them taste more like muffins than traditional cupcakes. I will blend these with some ice cream and milk to make chocolate cupcake milkshakes-problems solved!

Chilled the bowl before whipping egg whites and let the melted chocolate chips cool a bit, as Giada instructed. Definitely "gently fold" the egg whites and cake flour - do not mix in a mixer. I left the cupcakes in the oven for the full 12 minutes. I waited until they cooled to drizzled with chocolate. They didn't deflate and they were so delicious!!!

Some of the centers deflated for me also but not all. Also the top was sort of crumbly, I didn't notice that when I watched the show. But they are very yummy lilttle airy bites of chocolate with that hint of cinnamon!

I'm not sure what I did wrong but all of mine fell in the center. I will say this has not deterred us from eating them...my husband has just finished off 8! They are very good. I'm going to try this recipe again to see if I made an error during the mixing process.
