Delicious! Definitely will be a staple at my house. Only thing I did differently, was crisp the bread in the oven before grilling the inside. Amazing!!!!!!!!

I love this recipe. But I changed it a little bit. FIrst off, I made homemade ciabatta bread instead of focaccia, using this recipe:

    http://www.bigoven.com/159794-Ciabatta-Bread-Recipe-recipe.html

    I
put ham on it along with the turkey and bacon, and I put scrambled eggs on it instead of an egg crepe (because I didn't have time to make crepes. I also didn't put any pesto on it. The homemade ciabatta bread was so moist it didn't need anything on it (no pesto or mayo.

With those little changes, this sandwich is absolutely amazing!

This was a great recipe! I didn't have time to make the egg crepes but the sandwiches were a hit regardless. People were raving about them and they are very easy to make. I will definitely make this recipe again (and soon!.

These are good but be careful what kind of bread you use. I used a herb focaccia and a cheese focaccia because that was all my grocery store had. The cheese topped one was toooo rich and didn't mesh well with the salt in the sandwich. To me this seemed a little greasy. The bacon, egg, butter, pesto....lots of grease. You can only eat one and thats enough.

I made these for my husband's 50th birthday party b/c he simply loves any kind of club sandwich...the mini snadwiches were the most popular appetizer I served gauged by how fast they disappeared....everyone was raving about how good they were and it was fun watching them go!! I found different flavored foccacia rounds at our local grocery store...fresh tomato, black olive and parmesan, asiago cheese and onion...etc....the egg crepes really make the difference. I tend to favor mayo so I balanced the pesto by topping one half of the round with pesto and the other half with mayo. I also tried using creamy Havarti cheese slices instead of provolone...and it is just as delicious....you can't go wrongwith this recipe. Now my family asks me to make these sandwiches on the weekends to enoy ourselves!!

I made these for a casual New Years party and everyone loved them! They're really simple, but the all the flavors together are such a winning combination. I thought the pesto was a little overpowering, so I'll probably use less next time I make them.

I made these sandwiches as a test run for a baby shower. I served them with french potato soup on a cold day and it was a perfect combo. They were so yummy and I will defiinently be serving them at the shower. Thanks Giada!

This is a great appetizer to add to your recipe box. Easy to make. Great to make ahead of time, and cut up right before serving. I was surprised how easy they were to cut with a good sharp bread knife. Bread from Panera works perfectly. Very tasty. I would not change a thing! You could even make larger portions and serve them as full size sandwiches for a luncheon.
