I could only find rectangular focaccia bread so I used that and skipped the egg crepe. The only other change I made was to mix the pesto with some light mayo since I like my sandwich a little less dry. It was delicious! I am making it again for a cocktail party tomorrow evening.

This recipe is great, the egg crepes make it a little different, I added a little light mayo to the top and still did the pesto on the bottom. Big hit! Thank you, Giada!

I made these for a family get together yesterday. They were so fast and easy! I used already cooked bacon which made it so much faster, i also made the eggs the night before. They flew off the plate! Awesome recipe Giada!!!

Made this for our church small group. Everyone loved it and asked for the recipe. Food Network makes it easy to share the recipe with friends with the email button. Was easy to make. I put this in a 200 degree oven to warm it before serving. Wonderful warm. Nothing left to take home but the empty serving tray!

I made this for a holiday brunch we had at work and it was a huge hit. It was the first thing to go. There were no leftovers & everyone raved about it.

I made these for a party and they were all gone at the end. Next time I make these, I am going to only put pesto on one side of the bread because it was a little too much pesto for me. Also, I am going to skip the crepe since it is very time consuming and you can't taste the crepe anyway. Overall, pretty good sandwich.

I've made this sandwich on several occasions. It's easy and always a hit. I use a large focaccia loaf and then cut the sandwich into wedges to serve. This is a keeper for sure. And it holds up well for picnics or to keep for several days.
