    Perfect for the superbowl. The trick is grating the onion. I used the food processor for the onion garlic and parsley. Giada is right; make sure you give them space in the pan. I got pre backed rolls and after 10 minutes perfection. Thanks Giada I have learned so much from you!

    How wonderful. Made both her recipe for marinara and the meatballs and it was delightful, I didn't have parsley so used some celery leaves for flavoring in the meatballs and it was just as good. What a winner. Easy and delicious.

    I use this recipe all the time it will adapt for just about anything you might want to make meatballs with, easy and inexpensive to make, keeper for sure.

    My husband is not a big fan of Italian food, but he loves it when I cook these meatball sandwiches. We recently went to an Italian restaurant and he ordered a meatball sandwich. When we left, he told me he was disappointed in the sandwich because he was expecting it to taste like the ones I make, and it didn't come close!

    This was a great comfort food - and it got better each day. This is the epitome of a warm, nourishing, delicious sandwich. I had no problem eating it 3 days in a row...really.
