These meatballs were delicious, as well as the marinara sauce to go with it. I liked the idea of grating the onions so they are not chunky in the meatballs. They made for a tasty Italian dinner, one that I will make for my Italian friends!!

    Thanks!

Oh, by the way, do you have the nutritional information for the meatballs and the sauce?

Made this for dinner and my husband said, "This sandwich is better than any I've ever had in any Italian restaurant." Thanks for sharing this recipe.

This recipe was amazing. If I had a taste test with a store bought one, my family would have picked this one as the winner. I used Giada marinara sauce as well which I think made all the difference. I would use less onion though if I made both recipes because it was a little strong but soooooo amazing.

My family found these meatballs to be too oniony-tasting, although I grated half a Vidalia. The onion flavor overpowered the flavor of the meat. I'll give it another try, though, without any onions. Does anyone else share this opinion?

I was walking past the local pizza shop today and had a craving for a meatball sandwich. I remembered having this recipe at home. Not including the sauce, I was able to make this for the cost of one sandwich. I still have enough for a coupla' sandwiches, and pasta and meatballs. The best part was they were so much better than what I would have bought.

The meatballs tasted wonderful...I would put a bit more breadcrumbs next time as they would fall apart easily.

Works great with most already-made marinara sauce. By far the best meatballs I've had. Go's great with pasta, sandwich or as is. Bravo.
