This is the 1st Giada recipe that I have tried and it really helped to read the reviews! Because of the reviews, I spiced up the meatballs with cayenne pepper, chili powder, and minced garlic. Even my most finicky kid loved them and wanted more. Next time, i will double the batch.

This is the first Giada recipe that has failed me. The meatballs were very, very bland. They definitely needed more spice to give them a kick. I ended up covering them with BBQ and ketchup to give them more flavor.

Followed the recipe exactly and I found these very easy to make. A simple recipe yet very good. My one and a half year old liked them and he's not a big meat eater, definatley would make again , I doubled the recipe also great leftovers.

These were good, but could use some more spices to give them a little kick. Very easy to make!

After seeing the show celebrating Giada's daughter's 1st birthday I thought this would be my answer to celebrating my own daughter's 1st birthday. I am so happy I tried them before serving them to guests. Not one person in my family liked these meatballs. They were bland, bland, bland. Even my 11 month old who loves meat would not eat them. They were easy to make, unfortunately that is not enough. Very disappointing.
Side note, the Pastina with Peas & Carrots Giada served along with the meatballs was DELISH! That will definitely be included in my daughter's party and become a staple in our house.

This recipe was super easy! My six-year-old helped me make these, and they were yummy. The meatballs will be a new staple recipe for our household. Thanks, Giada!

I added some minced onions and didn't serve them with any additional ketchup. They tasted like White Castle burgers. YUMMY!

On the show, Giada made an indentation in the top roll and placed one meatball in the center. The picture on this recipe shows an indentation in the bottom of the roll and two halves side by side. Big deal, 12 meatballs make 12 sandies! I was just amazed at how far 1/2lb of meat went!

They were easy to make. They cooked quickly, a very good choice for a week night meal. These will be great as a meatball sub!
