My mom and my nephew do not eat meatballs and they are both in love with this recipe. Easy to make and it tastes great, also easy to adapt!

My husband, son and I thought these were the best meatballs we have ever had! They really went well with the hawaiian rolls. I thought they were so good that I am going to have my Mom making them for my birthday dinner!

    Thanks you Giada!

My daughter ate her entire sandwich and wanted another before she even tried the rest of her food! She usually saves anything with meat for last, but she loved this! The meatballs were simple and quick to make. I loved them too!

I wonder what the % is of recipes with "mistakes".......comparing to what actually airs. I would be mad if I were the chefs. First, the meat measurement conflicts, which folks have already caught. Second, in the instructions, it says to slice a meatball in half. What? I don't recall Giada doing that. Anyway, what should you do with all the remaining "halves of meatballs???" hahahahaha I guess a bunch of monkeys are running foodnetwork.com. No quality control whatsoever.

My kids are fairly picky eaters...and if they don't like dinner they just have to deal with it and eat it anyways. So needless to say, dinner can be frustrating especially when I try new recipes. But tonight was such a different story! My eight year old son had two of these wolfed down in minutes and so did my six year old girl. They both loved them. Will definitely make again! Thanks Giada!

I'm so glad I saw this episode. I love meatballs -- I mean who doesn't right? -- so I thought I would give this a go since it looked so simple and easy. I ended up cooking all the recipes. The pastini was great and cutesy and fun and the meatballs were so simple and yummy on the little slider buns/dinner rolls. My kids just loved it! I made my own sugar cookie dough because I don't like the taste of store bought stuff -- and although we didn't decorate them quite so elaborately (that would take hours!, we just thought they were a yummy sweet addition to the whole meal. You know what? This would be a perfect July 4th barbeque meal if you add a few other dishes to it! You want easy on a holiday -- and not to be stuck in the kitchen while everyone else is having fun -- At least I think so! (btw, I did double the meatballs because I felt there weren't enough and if you have any meatballs left over, use them on top of spaghetti for a leftover meal -- perfect!!

Recipe does say 1/2 pound (4 oz. No big deal. I am sure this was just a simple typing error and anyone who is in the kitchen will know 1/2 pound = 8 oz. I did it, it was delicious. My granddaughter is a pain when it comes to eating anything..."She Loved it". Thank you, you are beautiful and God Bless you.

I tried this recipe last week. We all loved it! Any time I can get my son to like something different is a plus and he loved them. I doubled the recipe to use a whole pound of meat and saved the rest for spaghetti later. Now I know how easy it is to make meatballs.

These were very good. My kids and friends loved the meatballs. However I did change a couple things on the recipe. First I used whole wheat Panko crumbs instead of the corn flakes. I also used turkey instead of beef. My son who is extremely picky asked for seconds.
