IThese are great w/ spaghetti too!
've made these meatballs twice for my husband & 18mo old little boy. They are simple and delicious! I did sub Italian bread crumbs for the corn flakes as I did not have an on hand and they still turned out great!

Fortunately most people know how many ounces are in a pound (and therefore in a half pound but - for someone who does not - this recipe as written - 1/2 pound ground beef (4 ounces - would yield a mushy mess from which you could not roll twelve mini meatballs. Inexcusable mistake that should be immediately corrected!!

I made this for dinner tonight using ground chicken instead of beef (trying to make it healthy to determine if our granddaughters would like this dish. I thought these meatballs were delicious, as the ingredients blended beautifully. I'm not certain however if this recipe doesn't lend itself more to grown-up taste than children. I will make this again but probably not for my little girlfriends.

I tried these thinking maybe my kids would eat them. No luck. My kids are very picky or maybe it was a bad dinner night for them, but I thought they were very good. My original meatball recipe requires cooking them in oil so I loved that they are baked. Would definately make them again.

"these were really good and yummy". Me and my mom didn't have the right kind of cheese so we used mozzarella. But they were still pretty tasty.

1/2 lb is 8 ozs there's 16 ozs in 1 lb. This is the problem they don't always give you the exact recipe ...

Very simple to make! Love these recipes Giada! Didn't have flat leaf parsley nor the Romano cheese. Substituted cilantro and parmesan cheese.

I just watched the episode today and Giada said add 1/2 lb. of lean ground beef. Can't wait to try it for my little ones.
