I forgot the lemon zest by mistake too and they still were delicious. I didn't use the ginger butter but instead topped with Siracha. Tasty and healthy!

I omitted the lemon zest by mistake. The ginger butter is a MUST try, it was so delicious melted over the top of the shrimp cake. This was a family hit.

I made the recipe as is except used spray instead of oil on the pan. I also didn't make the butter.. The lemon zest was the secret ingredient......five stars from all the guest. Sent the recipe to my foodie friends.

These were fantastic! The only thing I changed was instead of 1 Tsp of salt I used 2 Tsp of Old Bay Seasoning. Plus I sauteed them in olive oil. 5 stars from everyone.
I didn't bother with the ginger butter sauce. Still excellent!
