Very Good but if you want it quicker...buy the dough it's way less trouble.

We made this after watching the show and we loved it. I can't say enough about how all the flavors just blend so well together. We are making them for our next party and our friends just can't wait to try them after hearing so much about them. Great recipe and not very hard to do.

I'm not the best cooker by all means! I've actually started getting into watching more Food Network and getting ideas and recipes from all shows (emeril, rachel ray, everyday italian, etc. These Mini shrimp calzones where my FIRST venture off of a box recipe! I also made it my own, adding shredded Mozzerella on top of the dough. I also have just made the shrimp mix and put it over chicken, kind of like a catchatori...turned out pretty good!

This was a quick and easy recipe! I had some challenges with the store-bought dough, but it came out great! I added some fresh mushrooms and it was even better. Can't wait to try again with different meat combos!

Simple to make and taste fabulous! The shrimp are a nice touch. I added basil and some red pepper flakes to the sauce for an extra touch. The dough is simple to make, although i recommend using about 1 1/2 - 1 3/4 cups of flour, otherwise it's a bit too dry and very hard to knead.

Only thing I would add is more kick, but I love spicy food. And make sure to have marinara and parmesan for dipping. These guys were absolutely devored at my last dinner party. And sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley right before serving--great color combo.

We enjoyed this Shrimp Calzone very much. The sauce was easy to prepare & delicious with the shrimp. The crust held up very well to the sauce & shrimp and very easy quick to prepare. My only comment is that I found the crustwas a bit dry, although it rolled out fine to my surprise.I do think I'll add just a tablespoon or so more of water next time.I don't know if that will effect the texture of the crust.I'll know next time because I surely will prepare this dish again.I lover Giada's recipes and have prepared many of them.

This was ok. I just wasn't thrilled with it. The shimp was great and tasted fabulous before I put it in the calzones, but the shrimp as a pizza/calzone idea wasn't that tasty. It was very easy to make but I will not make it again. I do love this show and make many dishes from Every Day Italian.
